Em termos fundamentais, pode-se dizer que esta ZAGG é equilibrada e que os indicadores são bons.

Desde o excelente Quick Ratio e Current Ratio, passando pelo Debit to Equity Ratio, são tudo boas referências. O único indicador menos bom é o valor do caixa que tem vindo a diminuir.

Está com um interessante PER actual de 12.



Mas se os fundamentais são bons, porque apresenta a ZAGG um short float de 32.45% ?

Mas a verdade é que perante um brutal short float de 32,45%, poderá estar sempre eminente a ocorrência de um squeezeee.

Tinha opções de compra a $8, com maturidade de Agosto, também vendi ontem, e a minha ideia a voltar a comprar num teste a MM20, na ordem dos $11.

O gráfico diário apresenta um divergência negativa no RSI.

Finding Value In Maker Of Smartphone Protective Covers

There are still values to be found in the technology sector. ZAGG (ZAGG), which makes protective covers for smartphones, Apple‘s iPads and other electronic devices, recently reported record results for 2011.

Yet this Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) has attractive valuations, with a forward P/E of just 12.6.

ZAGG designs and manufactures products like films, skins, audio and power solutions for consumer electronic devices. Its flagship product is the invisibleSHIELD, which is available in 5,000 pre-cut designs, and acts as a protective cover on handheld devices. The company has sold more than 7 million units.

ZAGG Has Record Fourth Quarter and Full Year

On Feb. 27, ZAGG reported its fourth quarter and full year results and blew by the Zacks Consensus Estimate in the fourth quarter by 35% on its way to a record quarter. Earnings per share were 27 cents compared to the consensus of just 20 cents. This compares to just 13 cents in the year ago quarter.

Sales jumped 131% to a fourth quarter record of $67.5 million from $29.3 million last year. 82% of the sales came from indirect channels, 12% from ZAGG.com and iFrogz.com and 5% from the company’s mall cart and kiosk program. An additional 1% came from shipping and handling charges.

The fourth quarter included the holiday season, which saw record online sales. ZAGG has been in business since March 2005.

Outlook for 2012

ZAGG sees sales growth continuing in 2012. It provided sales guidance for 2012 in excess of $250 million, which is up from $179.1 million in sales in 2011.

Estou longo novamente desde os 10.26 como publiquei no twitter quando comprei.

AT " The stock is perking up with good volumes after a decent consolidation period. Notice on the down days the volume has been very low and on the up days volume has been greater which tells us the bulls are in control here. As long as price remains above 10.46, I see the potential for more upside while noting that near-term resistance is at 10.96 and longer-term resistance is near 11.70. Long positions can be taken at current price (10.83) and below with stop loss below 9.73 on closing basis. The technical indicators are improving. The MACD is positive and above its signal line. The RSI is above its neutrality area at 50 and the CMF is also positive. We can also see in the technical chart above that the 20 day sma has crossed over the 50 day sma in February and that the stock is now flagging above it’s 20 day sma. At this point there are still plenty of bears who do not believe in this rally. It appears that the big money is about to dive into the long side as the technicals indicate that the stock is poised to move higher, possibly a lot higher due to the high short interest in the stock. Keep the stock in your radar. I like this stock a lot !!!

Craig-Hallum's checks indicate Zagg could launch as early as May at Wal-Mart (WMT), which is ahead of expectations. The firm said checks indicate strong momentum and reiterates its Buy rating....

Engraçado que não tinha apanhado essa... mas ao ver cuidadosamente, de facto existe ali um pouco "mal desenhado" um H&S invertido..... huuummmm

Bem, hoje tivemos um dia digno de um inicio de squeeze nesta menina, quebramos a "base de consolidação" para cima com um volume fora do normal num mercado em baixa. A ZAGG não divulgou quaisquer noticias que tivesse este impacto, no entanto eu dei conta do sentimento no inicio da sessão e informei no twitter. Continuo confiante num processo de possivel squeeze na acção ..... mas vamos assisitr , pois os curtos estão a tentar por diversas formas que isso não aconteça com ordens tampão... fica a minha análise feita à minutos que partilho convosco :

"Zagg Inc(NASDAQ:ZAGG) stock displayed some impressive relative strength with a 6.81% gain. After consolidating in between the 10.45 resistance and the 9.81 support for over three weeks, the stock finally broke out from its consolidation and marked a new month's high of 10.96. Therefore, the 10.45 level is now the support level. At the mean time the 20 and 50 SMA shall continue serving as the dynamic support to the stock. On the daily chart basis, the technical indicators are looking better now for the stock. The rising of the MACD histogram suggests a weakening of the bearish signal and MACD line has a positive crossover. In addition, the bullish crossover in the ADX chart adds to my conviction. Besides, the breakout was accompanied by volume. Based on technical reasons, there is a near term to midterm opportunity for shares of ZAGG to rebound to higher levels. A move above $11.73 could spark a huge short-squeeze. Short % of Float 48.8%. Potential upside of 100% exists for Zagg Inc, based on a current level of $10.66 and analysts' average consensus price target of $20.50. The stock should find initial resistance at its 200-day moving average (MA) of $11.73 and further resistance at $12. Shareholders may remain invested with a stop-loss at $9.81. "
