FLOP - Fundamental Laws Of Profit
1. Mais vale perder um ganho que ganhar uma perda, a menos que se cumpra a Segunda Lei.
2. A expectativa de ganho deve superar a expectativa de perda, onde a expectativa mede a
__.amplitude média do ganho/perda contra a respectiva probabilidade.
3. A Primeira Lei não é mesmo necessária mas com Três Leis isto fica definitivamente mais giro.

Glintt - Global Intelligent Technologies, formed through a merger with Pararede a local technology firm, is investing four million euros in building a 2,880 photovoltaic panel plant at Évora, south-east of Lisbon.
The solar panel park will be able to generate 1 megawatt says Glintt CEO Manuel Mira Godinho. The technology is designed by Glintt Energy, a 100%-held subsidiary also based in Évora in the heart of the Alentejo farmlands. The plant is due to be completed and on-stream within 12 months," Manuel Mira Godinho says.
"All power generated will be sold to the national power utility EDP”. The new park is a few kilometres from the Glintt Science and Technology of the Alentejo Park, a former landfill converted into a technology park. Apart from the PV plant Glintt is in ready to pursue any similar projects that present themselves under Portugal’s alternative energies programme which has turned the country into a European leader in wind generated energy. Glintt Energy is part of the parent company’s expansion strategy into the energy sector, which involves consulting, development and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects along with design, operation and maintenance of energy production via sustainable and innovative technologies.
Glintt Energy’s business plan includes opportunities to manufacture and market energy and environmental products and equipment, as well as production and sale of renewable energy and hydropower. Glintt employs 1,300 people and is moving to expand its cross border operations as part of a need to diversify and reduce dependency on a just the home market, Portugal. Currently it has a presence in Angola, Spain and Poland.
But says its CEO "Most of our turnover remains generated in Portugal,” and we are thus pushing hard to develop our cross border business to ensure Glintt, medium-long term survival. The company, whose core business is pharmaceuticals is a domestic leader in pharmaceutical solutions in Portugal and has 10,000 customers among Spanish pharmacies.
