Eu não comparei atentados com atentados. Comparei os métodos, a forma e os meios que se utilizam para se atingir os fins! Não me importa, não quero saber e estou-me nas tintas para as tuas lições de História. Falei de factos, e contra factos não há argumentos. Vires para aqui dizer que os outros também matam, que são piores e que matam mais, e que são maus como as cobras, para mim é prefeitamente secundário. Dizeres que a AlQaeda mata e esfola, significa o quê? Queres legitimar os actos terroristas israelitas com os actos terroristas dos muçulmanos?

E o que é isso de: «Mas os Israelitas é que são o diabo (como é habitual)»? (Sem comentários...)

Inquisição??? A que propósito? Assim de repente, e pelo que me lembro da história, a Inquisição matava em nome de um senhor que, morto, na cruz lhe afixaram uma placa a dizer «IESUS NAZARENUS, REX IUDEORUM» que singifica nada mais do que «Jesus Nazareno, Rei dos Judeus»... Por isso, a Inquisição não passava de uma instituição ao serviço da Santa Sé, cujo Deus incarnado era curiosamente Jesus Cristo, um Judeu filho de mãe canaaíta e pai incerto (visto que teria sido "obra" do Espírito Santo) e que portanto não se coibida de matar e torturar em nome do Rei dos Judeus. É isso o que a Inquisição representa para mim.

Bombardeamento ao Hotel King David foi um ataque terrorista na cidade de Jerusalém na Palestina ocorrido a 22 de Julho de 1946 , tendo como idealizadores uma organização sionista denominada Irgun (diminutivo de Irgun Zvai Leumi, Organização Militar Nacional) e como alvo, as instalações do Hotel King David nessa cidade que eram residenciais dos familiares de funcionários do governo britânico na Palestina. O ataque foi organizado por Menachem Begin que mais tarde ocupou o cargo de primeiro-ministro de Israel por duas vezes, o ataque terrorista resultou na morte de 91 pessoas (28 britânicos, 41 árabes, 17 judeus e 5 outros mortos) e ferimentos graves em outras 45 pessoas.

Iran has divided the country up into 31 military sectors as part of its stepped up preparations for war, DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources report. Sunday, June 29, Brig. Gen. Mir-Faisal Baqerzadeh, head of the Iranian Army’s Foundation for the Remembrance of the Holy Defense and MIAs, said the 320,000 graves were to be dug for enemy forces in case of an attack on Iranian territory.

“We don’t wish the families of enemy soldiers to experience what Americans had to go through in the aftermath of the Vietnam War,” said Baqerzadeh.

Our sources report that it was obvious to the average Iranian that the graves, concentrated in the border regions, were intended for prospective domestic victims of US and Israeli bombardments.

The plan to divide the country into 31 military districts was approved at a top-level consultation at the office of Supreme Ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last week.

Each sector will have its own command center headed by a Revolutionary Guards officer-in command, which in a war contingency will assume control of the district government and keep supplies of food, water, medicines running as well as emergency services for evacuations.

A military force attached to each command will be responsible for maintaining order and responding to problems.

According to DEBKAfile’s military sources, Iran has in effect established a home front command controlled by the Revolutionary Guards and manned by the million- strong Basij volunteer militia, the Guards’ local reserve units. This arrangement guarantees the government regime in Tehran effective control of every part of the country in any war contingency.

UE aprova novas sanções contra o Irão

A União Europeia (UE) aprovou hoje novas sanções contra entidades e pessoas iranianas, entre as quais o principal banco do Irão, no âmbito do quadro estabelecido pela ONU para punir Teerão devido ao seu programa nuclear.

As sanções impedem que as entidades realizem actividades económicas em território da UE, com bloqueios dos fundos que possam ter na União Europeia, e impedem que as pessoas envolvidas possam entrar no território do bloco europeu.

O Banco Melli, o principal do Irão e que conta com sucursais em Londres, Paris e Frankfurt (Alemanha), é o único banco afectado, já que as outras entidades sancionadas são organismos e instituições oficiais, mas não entidades bancárias.

A lista completa das entidades e pessoas incluídas nestas medidas será publicada terça-feira, bem como a data da entrada em vigor das sanções.

Os sancionados estão relacionados com os programas iranianos de enriquecimento nuclear e desenvolvimento de mísseis balísticos.

As sanções, que se baseiam no quadro legal estabelecido pela resolução 1.737 do Conselho de Segurança da ONU - aprovada no ano passado - foram adoptadas formalmente hoje, como ponto sem debate, num Conselho de Ministros da Agricultura da UE.

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va., June 6, 2008 -- Distorted data introduced by a B-2 Spirit's air data system skewed information entering the bomber's flight control computers ultimately causing the crash of the aircraft on takeoff at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 23, according to an Air Combat Command accident investigation report released June 5.

Moisture in the aircraft's Port Transducer Units during air data calibration distorted the information in the bomber's air data system, causing the flight control computers to calculate an inaccurate airspeed and a negative angle of attack upon takeoff. According to the report, this caused an, "uncommanded 30 degree nose-high pitch-up on takeoff, causing the aircraft to stall and its subsequent crash."

Moisture in the PTUs, inaccurate airspeed, a negative AOA calculation and low altitude/low airspeed are substantially contributing factors in this mishap. Another substantially contributing factor was the ineffective communication of critical information regarding a suggested technique of turning on pitot heat in order to remove moisture from the PTUs prior to performing an air data calibration.

The pilot received minor injuries, and the co-pilot received a spinal compression fracture during ejection. He was treated at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, and released. The aircraft was assigned to the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

The cost of the lost aircraft is about $1.4 billion.

Poll: 77% of Arabs say won't replace Israel

Study conducted by Harvard University reveals Israeli Arabs would rather live in Jewish state than in any other country in world

Seventy-seven percent of the State of Israel's Arab citizens would rather live in the Jewish state than in any other country in the world, according to a new study titled "Coexistence in Israel".


The survey was conducted by the John Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with the assistance of researchers from Haifa University.

The study was aimed at examining the relations between Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens on the State's 60th anniversary, and included 1,721 respondents.


The findings also revealed that a great majority of Israel's citizens (73% of the Jews and 94% of the Arabs) want to live in a society in which Arab and Jewish citizens have mutual respect and equal opportunities.


The study went on to show that 68% of Jewish citizens support teaching conversational Arabic in Jewish schools to help bring Arab and Jewish citizens together, and 69% believe contributing to coexistence is a personal responsibility.


Sixty-six percent of Jewish citizens and 84% of Arab citizens believe the Israeli government investments should begin now, and not wait until the end of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.


'Interest, comfort, and affection'

The project's lead researcher, Professor Todd L. Pittinsky, research director of the Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership (CPL), said in a press release, "These data support what we’ve found in our allophilia research around the world—evidence of interest, comfort, and affection among some, even in communities in conflict."


Pittinsky notes that much media coverage focuses on the divisions between Jewish and Arab citizens in Israel, and not enough on the sincere and concerted efforts to coexist peacefully.


Adi Eldar, chairman of the Israel Local Authorities Union, noted that "the survey strengthens our demand from the government for a budgetary equality between the Jewish and Arab sectors.


"Regional peace will come from the wide public and from the council heads. The Israel Local Authorities Union initiates a large number of projects in favor of both populations, with the hopes that this will create an infrastructure which will help solve the regional conflict," he added.

Israel’s air maneuver did not simulate possible Iran strike strategy

DEBKAfile’s Western military sources do not believe that if Israel does attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, it will resort to the old-fashioned aerial blitz tactic employed in 1981 for bombing Iraq’s Osirak reactor. They therefore challenge the US officials’ conclusion that Israel’s aerial exercise in conjunction with the Greek Air Force over Crete in early June was in fact a rehearsal for Iran.

What was demonstrated was the Israeli Air Force’s capability for deploying a large aerial force of more than 100 warplanes and helicopters for long-distance operations. The distance from Israel to Crete was indeed roughly equal to the distance to Iran’s uranium enrichment plant at Natanz.

Israel has already displayed its ability to strike a nuclear site by the attack on the Syrian-North Korean plutonium reactor in northern Syria on September 6, 2007.

But these military sources argue it would be sheer recklessness for Israel to send so large a part of its air fleet for a repeat of the Israeli attack on Iraq without first demolishing Iran’s air defenses.

In the attack on Syria, Israel was able to disarm by electronic means the Russian-made air defense batteries guarding its reactor. The same systems protect Iran’s nuclear sites. It must be assumed, however, that Iran and the Russian manufacturers learned a lesson or two from the way Israel silenced the batteries in Syria, although Israel too will have added new gadgetry.

Those Western military sources also deduced from the Israeli aerial exercise eastern Mediterranean that its war planners must have taken stock of the punishing fallout a war operation against Iran would trigger.

Therefore, rather than consigning a large air fleet to Iranians skies, Israel’s war planners are likely to first use large numbers of missiles to demolish Iran’s nuclear facilities and air defense batteries. Some may be delivered by air from a distance outside the range of Iranian fighter craft (most of which are outdated and in bad shape), others from Dolphin submarines.

The Air Force would go into action at a later stage.

They calculate that the moment Iran is attacked, not only will it retaliate, but all hell will break loose on Israeli borders. Iran’s terrorist stooges, Hizballah will let loose from Lebanon, Hamas from the Gaza Strip and the Syrian air and missile forces go into action from the north. The Israeli Air Force will be vitally needed to protect the population and sufficient aircraft must therefore be kept back for the home front.

Given Tehran’s multiple reprisal capability and the limits to which the Israeli Air Force can be stretched operationally at one time, the IDF may well decide to deal with the Hizballah and Hamas short-range rocket infrastructure as well as the Syrian Air Force before going into action against Iran..

In this sense, DEBKAfile’s military experts note, the decision to strike Iran’s nuclear sites is tightly bound up with preventive action against the menaces closer to home, Hamas at the very least.

Uproar, military alerts, oil price surge over apparent Israeli air drill for Iran attack

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that an oil price surge of 5 percent to $135.92 was triggered by the report leaked by US government officials of an Israeli air force drill over Greece for an apparent strike against Iran, Friday, June 20. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered a war alert in the Revolutionary Guards and armed forces, with the Israeli and US Gulf forces following suit.

Tehran made no immediate comment, while Iranian leaders were reported puzzled by the Bush administration’s motives in leaking the report to the New York Times.

The most extreme reaction came from the UN nuclear watchdog’s director Mohamad ElBaradei, who threatened to resign if there was a military strike on Iran, warning such an attack would turn the region into a “fireball.”

“A military strike would be worse than anything possible,” he warned. “..it will mean that Iran, if it is not already making nuclear weapons, will launch a crash course to build them…”

Russian foreign minister Sergei Ivanov maintained that neither Israel nor the United States had produced proof that Iran was developing nuclear weapons and said the issue must be dealt with by diplomacy and talks with Tehran.

The American UN ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad agreed. While stating the view that Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons would be “unacceptable,” he stressed:

"We're in the phase of diplomacy; we want a diplomatic settlement of this issue. The ball is frankly in Iran's court."

DEBKAfile’s political sources comment that if a reported air maneuver simulating an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities raised so much international, financial and military dust, how much more extreme would the world response be to a real attack.

The Greek Air force confirmed its participation in the Israeli military exercise held three weeks ago, but did not confirm the claim by Washington officials that it was a rehearsal for a potential attack on Iran. The Greek source stated no ground targets were involved as the drill was mainly aimed at personnel training. It was the first large-scale exercise between Israel and the air force of Greece, a member of NATO.

UP to 40 Israeli Air force F-15 and F-16 warplanes were based at the Greek Air Force Station at Souda on the southern Mediterranean island of Crete for the duration of the exercise, said the source.

WASHINGTON — Israel carried out a major military exercise earlier this month that American officials say appeared to be a rehearsal for a potential bombing attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Several American officials said the Israeli exercise appeared to be an effort to develop the military’s capacity to carry out long-range strikes and to demonstrate the seriousness with which Israel views Iran’s nuclear program.

More than 100 Israeli F-16 and F-15 fighters participated in the maneuvers, which were carried out over the eastern Mediterranean and over Greece during the first week of June, American officials said.

The exercise also included Israeli helicopters that could be used to rescue downed pilots. The helicopters and refueling tankers flew more than 900 miles, which is about the same distance between Israel and Iran’s uranium enrichment plant at Natanz, American officials said.

Israeli officials declined to discuss the details of the exercise. A spokesman for the Israeli military would say only that the country’s air force “regularly trains for various missions in order to confront and meet the challenges posed by the threats facing Israel.”

But the scope of the Israeli exercise virtually guaranteed that it would be noticed by American and other foreign intelligence agencies. A senior Pentagon official who has been briefed on the exercise, and who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the political delicacy of the matter, said the exercise appeared to serve multiple purposes.

One Israeli goal, the Pentagon official said, was to practice flight tactics, aerial refueling and all other details of a possible strike against Iran’s nuclear installations and its long-range conventional missiles.

A second, the official said, was to send a clear message to the United States and other countries that Israel was prepared to act militarily if diplomatic efforts to stop Iran from producing bomb-grade uranium continued to falter.

“They wanted us to know, they wanted the Europeans to know, and they wanted the Iranians to know,” the Pentagon official said. “There’s a lot of signaling going on at different levels.”

Several American officials said they did not believe that the Israeli government had concluded that it must attack Iran and did not think that such a strike was imminent.

Iran withdraws $75 billion from Europe

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran has withdrawn around $75 billion from Europe to prevent the assets from being blocked under threatened new sanctions over Tehran's disputed nuclear ambitions, an Iranian weekly said.

Western powers are warning the Islamic Republic of more punitive measures if it rejects an incentives offer and presses on with sensitive nuclear work, but the world's fourth-largest oil exporter is showing no sign of backing down.

"Part of Iran's assets in European banks have been converted to gold and shares and another part has been transferred to Asian banks," Mohsen Talaie, deputy foreign minister in charge of economic affairs, was quoted as saying.

Iranian officials were not immediately available to comment on the report in Shahrvand-e Emrouz, a moderate weekly, which did not specify the time period for the withdrawals which it said were ordered by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

"About $75 billion of Iran's foreign assets which were under threat of being blocked were wired back to Iran based on Ahmadinejad's order," the weekly said.

Iran's Etemad-e Melli newspaper, also quoting Talai, last week also reported the country was withdrawing assets from European banks but did not give any figures.

Realmente existe uma corrente islâmica com o único propósito de conversão de todos nós ao islamismo ou então pagar lá o imposto que eles preconizam para manter a religião não islâmica. Obviamente estes são os fudamentalistas, dos quais fazem parte o regime dos ayatollas e que são o alimento fudamental destes loucos. Depois há sempre o perigo demográfico ligado ás democracias ocidentais. Todos temos um direito a voto político para eleger os nossos orgãos governativos. Quando houver mais muçulmanos na Europa do que Cristãos (judeus já há poucos), quero ver o Sr Ibrahim Ahmed como primeiro ministro da França, ou Lord Mohamed Ibn Ibiza como Prime MInister to Her Magesty....
E depois podem transformar St Paul's Cathedral na Grande Mesquita de Omar Salim Apesar de não gostar deles, tenho que admitir que nem o Hezzbolah quer destruir o Estado de Israel (pelo menos ainda não se manifestou...)

Nada disto tem a ver com regimes muçulmanos moderados que tem o Estado bem separado da religião e por enquanto lembro-me apenas da Turquia e, believe it or not o partido do Mahmoud Abbas da Cijordania (futura Palestina)que tem Cristãos e Muçulmanos lá metidos, são tolerantes em relação ao judaismo e reconhecem a existencia do Estado de Israel. Por mim já mereciam o Estado da Palestina.
Pelo menos Isarael já autorizou a entrega de tanques ao Abbas.

Agora o Irão resume-se a um louco varrido, fundamentalista e cheio de ódio cego, que preconiza a extinção dum país, tal como ele disse, "varrelo do mapa".
Os próprios vizinhos árabes agradecem que o varram a ele. Até agora têm-se mantido muito caladinhos acerca deste assunto e não lhes convem um fudamentalista á porta com a bomba. O Osama ta,bem está á espera dela pois só cairam as torres gémeas!

Eu gostava de ver as vossas caras se o Mullah viesse bater ás vossas portas a dizer que as vossas mulheres passam a tapar a cara (ai do primeiro que fizer uma piadinha ), que as apedrejam publicamente se se meterem com o vizinho, passam a não ter direito á educação universitária, para não falar dos crimes de honra de pais e irmãos que assassinam filhas e irmãs só porque se apaixonam por alguem que não é lá das maluquices deles! Sinceramente aqui é a que a Inquisição deveria servir para alguma coisa! Queimá-los vivos e bem untadinhos com óleo de amendoas doces...

Vai dar barulho vai! e do grosso.

A única coisa que traria de novo a paz mundial era a queda do regime dos ayatollas para um regime democratico e secular.

Suspeito que temos novidades esta semana.. né??
Sinceramente - já não há paciência para estes árabes fanáticos. Estão apostados em destruir o nosso modo de vida - se tivessem as mesmas armas que "nós" já nos teriam exterminado à muito. Por isso digo.. força bravos Israel! Estamos convosco!
