Lá limpei esse ficheiros, mas o problema não se resolveu. Será que algo me passou?

Isso já aconteceu várias vezes comigo.
Provavelmente esses ficheiros aparecem sempre que estás com o metastock aberto e tentas visualizar a pasta dos ficheiros.
Tens de fechar 1º o programa e depois tentar apagá-los, se eles ainda lá aparecerem. Mas nunca apagues os "Emaster". Se por engano os apagaste tens de os restaurar da reciclagem e só depois apagar todos os ficheiros que aparecem com esse "til" á frente.
Depois volta a abrir o meta e vais ver que já funciona.

Why am I getting an End of File error when opening my composite?

One of the following things should resolve the problem:


1. Close MetaStock, search for and delete all ~msfl.* files. MetaStock and The DownLoader has temporary files that it creates. It normally deletes these files when you close it, but if it is shut down improperly, these files may not have been deleted. To delete these temporary files, do the following:

2. Make sure that MetaStock and the DownLoader (and Servers if using Pro) are closed

3. Click on Start | Find | Files or Folders (Or Search, depending on the version of Windows)

4. For Named: type in ~MSFL.*

5. Make sure the Look in field is set to C:\ (Assuming your data is stored on your C:\ drive)

6. Make sure "Include subfolders" is checked. (Win 9x)

7. Click on the find now button.

8. Once the ~MSFL files are found, click on Edit | Select All.

9. Click on File | Delete

10. Start MetaStock again

11. Verify that the Primary and Secondary securities have the same ending date.

12. Try opening with a clean template.

The MetaStock and the Downloader programs create these temp-files on each session's start-up,
eg so as to block any other (3td party) programs from entering on your MetaStock Data Files
(the Master,Emaster,Dat,Dop,Mwd files).
On Opening the program, usualy you will get a dialog-window (error message) in which
you can opt to "continue" accessing the folder. Click to "Continue", this will then automatically delete
these 4 files (or some of the 4).

A: Run a search for any files named ~MSFL.* on the drive on which the database is located (most likely the C:\ drive). Once the files have been located they should be deleted.

O conselho deles eh que esses ficheiros deveriam ser apagados... o meu conselho eh copia-los para um CD (se modo a poder apaga-los do disco duro), apaga-los e ver se funciona...

Poderão ser ficheiros temporários?

Experimenta copiar para o desktop e depois apagas desses folders a ver se notas alguma diferença, quem sabe corre bem

Estes ficheiros são das pastas acima, e ainda gostava de perceber como eles sairam de lá, já que nada fiz para isso acontecer.

Tb nunca me vi nesta situação e que me lembre nunca vi este problema ser colocado no forum

Já experimentaste, não apagar esses ficheiros (podia ser demasiado radical) mas movê-los para outro sítio?

Isso nunca aconteceu comigo, por isso nao te vou servir de gd ajuda...

A unica coisa que te posso sugerir eh utilizares o downloader para fazer uma nova pasta e veres se consegues abrir essa nova pasta (para tentar ver se eh um problema do meta ou das pastas).

Caso seja das pastas, uma solucao simples mas provavelmente ineficaz sera copiares as pastas para uma nova directoria e veres se consegues abrir essas pastas...

Por baixo das pastas apareceram-me esses files e agora ao abrir os gráficos surge essa mensagem.
Se algum amigo puder dar uma ajuda, desde já agradeço
