SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude futures fell under $66 a barrel Wednesday to a one-week low with inventories of the commodity still 11% above the year-ago level and petroleum-product stocks up in the latest week. March crude dropped $1.31 to $65.75 a barrel in New York. February unleaded gasoline traded at its lowest level so far this year, down 9.94 cents, or 5.7%, at $1.645 a gallon. February heating oil lost 3.96 cents to $1.7775 a gallon and February natural gas was at $8.45 per million British thermal units, down 2.3%.
