Spain's BBVA to launch takeover of Portuguese bank BCP
MADRID (ESP) — Spain's second biggest bank BBVA said it planned to launch a takeover bid for BCP of Portugal, according to a statement made available to Madrid stock exchange regulators.
"BBVA's board will get together probably between February 8 and to mull the possible launch of a takeover bid for the acquisition of 's ordinary capital," the Spanish entity said.
