ATENÇÃO - RMBS em acção pode multiplicar por 6

Caro EVV,
Este é o gráfico diário da RMBS incluindo 6ª claro. O padrão de 6ª feira em nada será igual ao do dia 24 pois já temos o Shothastic a dar sinal de venda com o cruzamento da linha K com D. No entanto cm refiro em cima, uma queda até aos $16.91 ( 50 MM ) seria muito bom em termos técnicos.
Se quiser outro tipo de gráfico tb lhe arranjo, este é o mais simples para pessoas com poucos conhecimentos de AT.

Como mencionei nos posts anteriores as minhas mais valias foram activadas e executadas a $18.26 exactamente quando reparei q a acção já estava bastante esticada e quando os cofres estavam a sugerir que os meninos andavam já a fazer profits. Deixo um comentário que fiz no meu blog sobre a Rambus.
Atenção :Esta acção n é para qq um, os movimentos são bruscos e dependentes muito das noticias sobre as acções judicais em vigor. Esta é daquelas acções q eu gosto sempre de ter em carteira, sempre que há um arranque.

Como mencionei nos posts anteriores as minhas mais valias foram activadas e executadas a $18.26 exactamente quando reparei q a acção já estava bastante esticada e quando os cofres estavam a sugerir que os meninos andavam já a fazer profits. Deixo um comentário que fiz no meu blog sobre a Rambus.

Evening star quase perfeita...
AC,
Olá, nos ultimos tres dias a RMBS fez uma "evening star quase perfeita (falharam os volumes do primeiro e terceiro dia), ora repara:
-puxada forte no primeiro dia
-star no segundo sem overlap (com o primeiro dia)
-a vela do terceiro dia tb não tem overlap (sobreposição) sobre o corpo da vela do dia anterior e penetra bem no corpo da vela do primeiro dia.
Ou seja podemos concluir que a tendencia inicial possivelemente vai ser revertida (ou seja não será apenas uma correcção) e que existirá um zona de resistencia por volta dos 18,00-18,50.
De qq forma foi uma excelente dica. Obrigado.

U.S. trade commission loses bid for Rambus appeal
Ola AC, gostei do destaque que deste à rambus, exactamente na altura certa. Continua a postar pois eu transaciono no Nasdaq e gosto de ver esses movimentos interessantes. Infelizmente há pouca discussão de titutos desse tipo aqui no Forum.

WASHINGTON, Aug 27 (Reuters) - The Federal Trade Commission has lost a bid for a second appeals court hearing in its legal fight with computer chip maker Rambus Inc (RMBS.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) over whether it made enough patent disclosures to a standard setting body, according to a court order.
In an order issued on Aug. 26, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit turned down the FTC's petition for an en banc hearing, which would involve a large panel of judges.
The same court overturned an FTC order on April 22 that said Rambus' failure to disclose patents it held violated antitrust law.
In February 2007, the FTC ordered Rambus to stop collecting some patent royalties, but soon amended that to allow the royalties to be collected but put into escrow.
The FTC order said Rambus failed to tell standard-setting organization JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Committee) about its patented technologies, while advocating those technologies as the new standard for computer chips.
Rambus General Counsel Tom Lavelle in a statement that the appeals court made the right call.
"We're pleased with the court's ruling," he said. "We have contended throughout this process (that) Rambus did nothing wrong during its JEDEC participation."
FTC spokeswoman Claudia Bourne Farrell said: "We're reviewing our options."
If the FTC does appeal, it would have only a slim chance of convincing the Supreme Court, said an antitrust lawyer, speaking privately.
"I think this is pretty much curtains for the FTC case," said the lawyer.
Dan Prywes, a partner with law firm Bryan Cave LLP, said he was unhappy about the ruling.
"The final outcome of the case is disappointing to those who care about candor in standard setting groups," he said.
Prywes indicated that Rambus was unpopular in the tech world.
"They have technology that's valuable to the industry. Once it becomes economic to the industry to shift elsewhere they will do so," he said.
Rambus and memory chipmakers have been at legal odds for years, suing and counter-suing each other, claiming patent infringement and fraud in failing to disclose patents to JEDEC.
Standard-setting bodies try to avoid giving companies a monopoly unless they agree to modest licensing terms.

Hoje fiz mais valias nesta menina para um assalto a um possivel pullback na casa dos $17 ou menos um bocado. Vai ser dificil mas pode acontecer.....
Olha, o que tenho lido e relido nestes últimos dias é q a decisão final deve ser anunciada muito em breve, possivelmente já em Setembro. Quanto ao valor das indeminizações elas oscilam entre os 7 e 11 Billiões de dólares no seu conjunto......é muita massa....já para n falar no fim do cartel......tudo é possivel.

BWS Financial says since June RMBS and Hynix have been awaiting Judge Ronald Whyte's decision on the patent dispute. The duration time being taken by Judge Whyte suggests the order could be strongly worded to push the two sides to reach an agreement. Firm consider the length of time passing as a positive for RMBS, and would consider the shares trading at an attractive price point. The more important matter Judge Whyte could decide upon is what royalty rate Hynix would have to pay. Any mention of a royalty rate being pushed on to Hynix, could be used as a measuring stick for all the other legal matters RMBS is currently involved in. firm had been expecting a judgment by the beginning of Aug, and now presume it could happen within the first two weeks of Sep. The final order from Judge Whyte would be the catalyst to jump start RMBS shares in moving higher

According to Bloomberg, Rambus the designer of chips of chips for Sony Corp's Playstation video game console, might collect royalties of as much as $10 bln, six times its market value, by winning a seven year fight with Hynix Semiconductor. After claiming the world's second largest memory chip maker infringed on patents it owned, Rambus won a $133.4 mln award in 2006. To collect, it must now win a trial next month over the South Korean manufacturer's claim that the Los Altos, California-based company illegally used information obtained at industry meetings in the 90s to get the patents.
