RPT-Arcelor opens up 34 pct on Madrid bourse after bid

MADRID, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Shares in steel group Arcelor opened 34.2 percent higher at 29.9 euros on the Spanish bourse after being suspended pending news of an unsolicited takeover bid from rival Mittal .

At 1119 GMT, the stock was up 34.87 percent at 30.05 euros. The stock had not yet reopened on the Euronext exchange.
