European shares extend gains after data

LONDON, June 3 (Reuters) - European shares extended gains on Thursday and was at a two-week high after euro zone data showed the PMI was expanding in May and the Final Services Employment Index showed it first jobs growth since June 2008.
By 0812 GMT, the pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 index of top shares was up 2 percent at 1,023.72 points, led by banks and energy stocks.
