"Breaking trades. Nasdaq problems. Total bush league. Makes me sick. Should make you sick.

I have to tell you the fact that there are no humans involved whatsoever, the fact that we have sacrificed everything on the altar of speed makes me think we are really going to lose a lot of people... again. And who can blame people. It is downright infuriating.

But take it from me. Here's what will happen: absolutely nothing.

There will be some half-hearted investigation. Someone might or might not be revealed as a culprit.

And we will do nothing.

Why do I care?

Because we have given the retail investor shaft after shaft after shaft.

Sure, I believe that you can protect yourself with dividends and diversification.

But we have to accept the that all the exchanges care about is volume, and they are willing to risk anything to get that volume, including any circuit breakers that could make it so we couldn't have this happen.

So, get ready for thinning ranks and still fewer players.

Cause today's one more day where we just know it's more of a mug's game than we thought.

Random musings: Nasdaq is cancelling some trades that swung 60% in the selloff... "
