SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The American Petroleum Institute said crude inventories for the week ended July 1 fell by 2.7 million barrels.
Motor gasoline inventories declined by 483,000 barrels but distillate stocks were up 1.2 million barrels.
August crude is down $1.13 at $60.15 a barrel in New York with the blasts in London pressuring prices, analysts said.
