TOMTOM
Shares in TomTom (TOM2.AS) rise 4.8 percent after the Dutch navigation device maker starts to trade ex-rights, creating demand from arbitrage traders and investors that have regained confidence to buy the stock, analysts say.
"The difficult financial situation is something of the past. Parties that were not interested before have turned their eyes again to TomTom," says Petercam analyst Eric de Graaf.
Theodoor Gilissen analyst Paul Beijsens says arbitrage opportunities between the stock and the rights TOM2_r.AS can also push up the shares.
TomTom is the biggest gainer in the Amsterdam blue chip index .AEX, trading at 6.64 euros after setting the issue price in the rights offering at 4.21 euros.

Decididamente, não considero esse valor como suporte pois não acho que tenha servido de resistência (o segundo toque que apresentas é inválido na minha opinião).

Mais cedo ou mais tarde tinha de acontecer: a TOMTOM não resistiu à tentação das mais-valias e afundou-se quase 10% caindo para os 7,67.
Não encontro suportes de referência acima dos 6 euros mas é possível que entretanto se forme um suporte algures. É esperar...

Tom-Tom denies joining the Apple cult
NAVIGATION OUTFIT Tom-Tom has denied a rumour that it is about to join the black shirted legions of Apple.
Tom-Tom's shares soared on Friday based on the rumours that Jobs Mob would buy a stake in the Dutch company.
However Chief Executive Harold Goddijn said in a statement that he hadn't even had a call from Apple saying it was interested.
It is true that TomTom is planning an equity offering that will raise around €430 million to repay part of its debt. But the rumour was that this was going to be snaffled up by Apple.

Gráfico actualizado. Como disse acima, saí por precaução. No entanto se continuar com esta força. e ultrapassar os 7,50€, tem caminho livre até aos 9,20€ e depois até aos 13,00€. Claro que não vai ser sempre a subir, mas...

June 9 (Bloomberg) -- TomTom NV, Europe’s largest maker of car-navigation equipment, rose the most in three months in Amsterdam trading after announcing a navigation application and car kit for Apple Inc.’s iPhone.
TomTom climbed as much as 13 percent. The navigation application will be available via the Apple iTunes App Store, after the release of Apple’s OS 3.0 operating system, Amsterdam- based TomTom said today in a statement on its Web site.
TomTom, a competitor of Garmin Ltd., bought Tele Atlas for 2.9 billion euros ($4.04 billion) last year to gain access to the market for digital maps and expand services. It aims to get more sales from maps, services and built-in systems, as growth in the traditional portable navigation-device market is slowing.
“The Apple iPhone navigation deal is a significant win for TomTom and one that comes exactly at the right moment as the smart phone market is really taking off,” Martijn den Drijver, an Amsterdam-based analyst at SNS Securities, wrote in a note to investors. Den Drijver rates TomTom “buy.”
TomTom advanced as much as 64.4 cents to 5.735 euros, the biggest jump since March 5. The stock traded at that price as of 10:21 a.m.
“Details regarding pricing and availability for both the application and the TomTom car kit for iPhone will be made available in advance of the products’ launch later this summer,” TomTom said.
