The Ira Sohn Investment Research Conference was founded in memory of trader Ira Sohn, who died of cancer in 1993. Since its inception in 1995, the conference has raised close to $20 million for organizations aiding children with pediatric cancer and other diseases, with $4 million raised at last year’s event alone.
